White City Dancing School
Dancing develops and builds confidence, self esteem, flexibility, coordination and dedication. Along with a lot of fun, students will be participating in classes with other students learning exciting routines to perform.
- Ballet/Musical Theatre – Ballet is the form of dance which is the basis of all dance. It teaches poise, grace and self discipline that carry on throughout life.
- Tap is fun and exciting form of dance. With the use of tap shoes as an instrument, children learn rhythm and combinations to form a dance.
- Jazz/Hip Hop is a form of dance that is quite popular. It is fun and upbeat using recent musical hits. Jazz combine movements and exciting dances.
The classes run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Students are entered in at least three competitions throughout the year as well as a yearend recital. The White City Dance Club participates in community programs and committees such as the Parks and Recreation Board and has performed at local events such as the White City Volunteer Awards and the Optimist Car Show.
The White City Dance School is proud to have been active in our community for the past 30 years and look forward to many more years of dance.
