The Splash Park was an initiative of the Parks and Recreation Board and their many volunteers. It was officially opened in May 2009, and has been extremely popular with parents and their young families.
The Splash Park recycles the water that is used. When the Park is active, the water is recycled throughout the park via the sprinkler system. Caution all areas in the park are potential "WET ZONES". Town Maintenance has no way of shutting off this system. Dry Zones are being planned for the Park. Leave valuables and perishables in your vehicle or secured in a water resistant manner.
The Splash Park is located on the corner of Gregory Ave. and Lipsett Street.
Weather Permitting Splash Park opens the first week in June and closes the Tuesday following the long weekend in September.
