Councillor Carrie Bjola

Carrie was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. She lived in Regina prior to building a home in White City in 2005.   Carrie is a Registered Nurse who is furthering her education in public policy and administration so she may better serve the public in the areas of health and welfare.  From Carrie's first job as a lifeguard in her home town, all of her roles have been rooted in the care and concern for people's health, safety and wellness.  Carrie currently works for the Government of Saskatchewan and is actively involved in programming aimed at improving the health of all residents of Saskatchewan.

Carrie appreciates that a decision from someone in authority affects the lives of populations and she wants to ensure the development of good guiding principles.  Carrie recognizes that one way to promote quality assessment of an issue is to listen to all individuals and groups who are affected before a decision is made.  Two way communications is the foundation.

Carrie is promoting communication through her own website at www.carriebjola.com, she also encourages residents to contact her via email at cbjola@whitecity.ca or telephone at 541-0499.
