Councillor Mark Schwartz
My wife Karen and I moved to White City in the summer of 2005. After a 2 year search in the area, it came down to a home in Emerald Park or in White City. We chose White City.
My back ground was in the sales and service of heavy trucks and trailers. At the pinnacle of that career I was named Canadian Peterbilt Salesman of the Year. I had also been very active with Hockey Regina serving as a Director on the board for a number of years and then with the SHA for a few more. As I believe ”OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE".
My wife has been an employed with the Provincial Government for 24 years. We have two son's Michael 24 and Jordan 21. We spent many winters in the hockey rinks and many summers camping. In the summer of 2002 we as a family along with several others traveled to the Czech Republic where our sons played in a hockey tournament. It was a very educational and wonderful experience as we traveled through Germany and Austria.
I am currently involved in the Transportation Industry in both Canada & U.S.A.
I have very much enjoyed serving on council this past year and look forward to serving as long as I can make a difference.
