Fire Ban
Please be advised that as of Friday July 26, 2024 a FIRE BAN is hereby in effect for the Town of White City.
All fires will be prohibited throughout White City until further notice.
Due to dry conditions, and in accordance with Bylaw No. 689-23, The White City Fire Bylaw, there is a complete ban on private and/or public property of:
• any open-air fires;
• use of fire pits and outdoor fireplaces;
• use of any fireworks;
• use of any pyrotechnics; and
• any other burning including, but not limited to, tiki torches, burning barrels or burning cages of any size or description.
Be advised that the use of firecrackers and sky lanterns are never permitted for use within the Town of White City.
The Fire Ban will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
