The Town of White City is pleased to partner with Susan Kidby-Burns, RPN to offer a Mental Health First Aid Supporting Youth course.
Help young people navigate mental health challenges with understanding and support.
This course was developed with input from educators, caregivers, and mental health experts to meet the unique needs of youth aged 12 to 24. It offers practical tools to help participants recognize when a young person may be struggling and provides guidance on how to offer meaningful support. By focusing on the challenges and pressures faced by youth today, the program empowers participants to foster understanding, build trust, and promote resilience in the young people they care for.
This course is open to anyone aged 16+, including parents, coaches, teachers, youth workers, or anyone involved with youth between the ages of 12 and 24.
The course fee is $175 per person. Lincoln’s Life Mattered Foundation is offering to reimburse 75% of the registration cost of the course upon completion!
To register, email payment to skidbyburns@gmail.com. You will be officially registered once payment is received. Receipts will be provided and participants will receive a certificate after course completion.
