Public Reporting on Municipal Waterworks – 2025

Why this information is provided

The Municipalities Regulations require municipalities that own or operate waterworks systems to publicly report certain financial information each year. This reporting supports transparency and accountability in how municipal water services are funded and managed.

The Town of White City provides this information annually in accordance with provincial legislation.


2025 Waterworks Financial Overview

The following is a financial overview of the 2025 waterworks, as required under The Municipalities Regulations: 

Total waterworks revenues (as reported in the financial statements): $3,384,235
Total waterworks expenditures (as reported in the financial statements): $2,390,684
Total debt payments on waterworks infrastructure loans: $634,983

Comparison of waterworks revenues to expenditures plus debt payments, expressed as a ratio: 

Reserves balance available for waterworks capital infrastructure: $1,563,423
